Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 29, 2026
Last updated: April 29, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Agriculture Marketing Agency (“AMA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information about visitors to agriculturemarketingagency.com and recipients of our outreach. We wrote this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at privacy@agriculturemarketingagency.com and we will explain.
1. Who we are
Agriculture Marketing Agency is a specialized marketing firm for farms, ranches, and agribusiness brands. We provide SEO, content marketing, paid advertising, and bilingual (English and Spanish) digital marketing services. We are based in the United States.
2. What information we collect
From website visitors:
- Information you submit through contact forms (name, email, farm or business name, phone, message)
- Behavioral data via Google Analytics (pages viewed, time on site, traffic source) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymized session recordings, click patterns)
- Cookies (essential, analytics, marketing) as described in Section 6
- Email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or download a guide
From outreach recipients:
- Business contact information (name, role, business email, business name, public website) obtained from publicly available sources or licensed B2B data providers
- Engagement data (whether you opened, clicked, replied to, or unsubscribed from our emails)
From clients:
- Business and billing information needed to provide and invoice services
- Marketing performance data from your business properties (with your authorization) including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, ad accounts, and CRM systems
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and deliver requested services
- To send marketing emails about our services to businesses we believe may benefit (with opt-out always available)
- To improve our website and content based on aggregate analytics
- To deliver and report on client services we have been hired to perform
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Cold email outreach and prospecting
We engage in business-to-business email outreach as part of our marketing activities. This section explains how that works and your rights.
Why we contact you: If you receive an email from us, it is because we identified your farm, ranch, or agribusiness as a potential fit for our services. We obtain contact information from public sources (your business website, agricultural directories, professional listings) or licensed B2B data providers. We do not purchase consumer lists.
Lawful basis for processing (GDPR / EU recipients): We rely on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the promotion of our specialized agricultural-marketing services to businesses whose public marketing presence indicates they may benefit. We have conducted a balancing test and concluded that the limited, professional, and easily reversible nature of our outreach does not override the rights and freedoms of the recipient.
California recipients (CCPA): Business contact information used for B2B outreach is excluded from CCPA’s definition of “personal information” while you are acting in your professional capacity. You retain the right to request deletion of any information we have about you at any time.
Sender identification: Cold emails are sent by Joseph and Herbert Timpson, co-founders of Agriculture Marketing Agency. The sender name and email address shown are accurate and reachable. We do not use false header information or deceptive subject lines.
Unsubscribe: Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, in line with CAN-SPAM Section 5(a)(4). Once unsubscribed, your contact information is removed from active campaigns and added to a permanent suppression list.
How to opt out manually: Reply to any email with “unsubscribe” or “remove” in the subject or body. Or email privacy@agriculturemarketingagency.com. Or use the unsubscribe link in the email footer.
Retention: Outreach contact data is retained for up to 24 months from the last sent email, then deleted unless you have engaged with us. Suppression-list entries are retained indefinitely to prevent re-contact.
5. Third parties we share data with
We use the following service providers to operate our business. Each handles your data only as instructed by us. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
- Google Analytics (website analytics)
- Microsoft Clarity (behavioral analytics)
- Smartlead.ai (email outreach automation)
- Apollo.io (B2B contact discovery)
- Google Workspace (email and document infrastructure)
- WordPress and form plugins (contact form processing)
- Stripe or equivalent (payment processing for clients)
- GoHighLevel (CRM and pipeline management for clients)
We may also disclose information when legally required (subpoena, court order) or to protect our rights, our clients, or public safety.
6. Cookies
We use three categories of cookies:
- Essential (required for the site to function: session, security, form submission)
- Analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, anonymized usage measurement)
- Marketing (retargeting pixels for ads on Google, Meta, LinkedIn, only if enabled)
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site. Blocking analytics or marketing cookies will not.
7. Your rights
All users: You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@agriculturemarketingagency.com. We respond within 10 business days.
EU and UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA): You have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, opt out of sale (we don’t sell), and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
8. Data retention
- Contact form submissions: 3 years
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe
- Cold outreach contacts: up to 24 months from last contact, longer if you’ve engaged
- Suppression list: indefinite
- Client business and performance data: duration of engagement plus 7 years for accounting compliance
- Google Analytics: 26 months (default Google retention)
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: SSL/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our service providers, access controls based on role and need, and regular security review. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we make commercially reasonable efforts.
10. Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you are accessing our services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes affecting how we use your data, we will notify subscribers and clients by email.
