Diamond R Cattle, Independence, Kansas
The ranch whose recipes were winning and whose beef pages were losing
A fourth-generation Black Angus ranch selling shares, boxes, and cuts direct. Search traffic was growing fast, almost none of it on the pages that sell beef. We rebuilt the store around the CROP Framework: classified every search by intent, routed recipes to the cuts they use, built six city and state landing pages, rewrote product titles to say what the customer gets, and launched the email program.
Comparison: March 20–April 18 versus August 17–September 15, 2026: the selected lowest pre-engagement and highest subsequent 30-day periods. This is not a measure of growth occurring within a single 30-day period.
What did not work, stated plainly: the Facebook campaign set described in this case study recorded 4,695 visits and no attributed purchases in the cited analytics report, so we rebuilt the ads for people who already knew the ranch. Sales source: Shopify, March 20 to April 18 and August 17 to September 15, 2026, the slowest 30 days before the work against the best 30 days since.
